Pterosaur is GEOSAT’s compact UAV product. Weighing only 2.2 kg, it is a portable all-wing vehicle that can take off by hand-throwing or catapult, depending on terrain, wind and operation conditions. Equipped with auto-pilot flight control computer, it can carry 24 million-pixel camera, infrared camera, multi-spectral sensor. Pterosaur can be used in aerial photographing, precision agriculture, 3D modeling for buildings, environmental monitoring. The UAV can fly for 60~70 minutes, covering 500 acres at 400 meter height above ground each flight.
Lightweight body made of EPP foam material, low cost, easy to replace, with a payload up to 400g, the wing can be dis-assemblied from the body for easy transport in carrying case/bag.
PTEROSAUR is powered by Li-Polymer battery, allowing PTEROSAUR's endurance time up to 60-70 minutes, 40% more than similar products on the market, which increases the flexibility of many applications.
Flying at speed of 45-55 kilometers per hour, wind resistance at Beaufort scale 4 to 5.

Wireless control range is about 3 km. Tasks can be performed automatically when beyond range, resuming control when within radio range.
Equipped with a 24 megapixel camera, allowing to record sharp images for a variety of applications. PTEROSAUR uses a modular task payload design that quickly replaces different sensors and performs diverse aerial tasks.
High-performance flight control computer, combined with built-in GPS module and real-time coordinates. The UAV will automatically return or fly-in to pre-set/designated locations, and automatically drop on the landing zone by parachute landing.
Unlike other belly-landing products, PTEROSAUR uses parachute landing system to effectively protect the camera lens and other payloads or sensors. Parachute can be reused and can be manually deployed in emergency to increase operational safety.
A5100 is SONY latest single-lens camera with built-in flash which carries 24.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and Bionz X image processor. It support hybrid AF system with 25 contrast-detect and 179 phase-detect points which shares with A6000. The A5100 supporting the XAVC S2 codec, allowing for bit rates of 50Mbps. ISO range from 100 up to 25600. It can produce high resolution images with 16mm zoom lens.
FLIR Vue Pro R is suitable for drone application for thermography. With its design as high resolution results, small size, light-weighted (92.1-113.4g, battery not included), user-friendly, it can be equipped with any kinds of drone. It connects to power and Video monitor thru PN4142006. PN4142156 and MAVLink/PWM3/PWM4 connects with flight control computer in order to track drone location and read images as mission goes by.
Designed for agriculture applications, the Parrot Sequoia is a multispectral sensor with high precision, small size and light weight (72 + 35 g without battery), easy to operate and suitable for loading on any type of UAV. Built-in GPS / GNSS, which is able to determine the position of the equipment shooting, and has a variety of camera modes to choose from. With three different radiation sensor mounting locations, it is possible to take a variety of different radiation sensors for image capture.

We equip Sony A5100 camera + 16mm lens. However, additional options are available for Pterosuar drone.
The maximum payload weight recommended for Pterosuar is 350g.
Standard flight time at cruise speed is 60-70 mins.
Photos are kept in the equipped SD cards, please directly download photos from it.
In order to keep Pterosuar strong while lightweighed, we are using EPP foam as structural material and CFRP for support frame.
Usually you would need to replace propeller blades. During its lifetime, the body or wings might also need to be repaired or replaced if Ptersouar is used in server environment. If any concerns occur, contact us at support@geosat.com.tw
